
Education bursaries
Almost everything the Branch does reaches men and women in their eighties. The bursary is the part that goes the other way.
We help members and their families with the cost of education, where money is what stands between someone and the course they want to do.

This list is not exhaustive. If what you need is not on it, apply anyway and set out your case; the Committee considers every application on its own merits and makes exceptions where the case is there. Grants may be paid in one sum or in instalments across the length of a course; note that receipts will be required to fulfil the following:
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for an Education Grant, applicants must be:

A veteran and a current member of the Branch, or the child or grandchild of a veteran who is a current member residing in Hong Kong

The course must be at a vocational, professional, or undergraduate level;
postgraduate study and work placements fall outside the scheme. Applications are normally for first-time applicants, though the Committee will consider a further application where circumstances warrant it.
How to apply
The window for applications will be open quarterly for a 30-day period.
